ONES

Ones .....
We come into this world as ones
into waiting arms of love and attention.
We exit this world as ones,
leaving memories of love
and one's life reality
to uncertain handling
by ones
interested
or not
in one's
passing..

Twitters .... American Lifestyles

I recently advertised in the Phoenix newspaper and kijiji..com and puppyfind.com to find homes for my Pekingese puppies and the responses I received are societally and culturally alarming .... here is what I replied to the twits, twerps, and those anonymously just testing or trying whatever ...

"Would you be able to come to my home in NW Phoenix to select your puppy soon? I dislike dealing with disembodied email addresses/phone number text messages and feel that is just a modern form of anonymity not at all adequate or suitable for breeder to puppy adopter discussions about the transfer of ownership (AKC) and assure the puppy's future well being. I have had text message responses that just give me a very insecure and negative feeling about someone who does not want to be a person but instead prefers numerical transient identifications. It may be ok for drug dealers and such, but is not acceptable for legitimate American citizen transactions especially where the innocent lives of puppies are in questionable status."

Warm blooded Americans? That description no longer is applicable in America's urban interpersonal interactions via the iphones and electronic handheld communications devices.

Buddah Boy Portrait Painting

I had one person comment that the look on the face of the Pekingese in the painting was that of distain .... and I replied "Perhaps, Ian Arthur Ison, but distain is not what I see or painted but perceive instead a comprehending mind and visual facial expression evidence of his thoughtful awareness of what he sees and experiences not only in this life but also possessing hindsight, a legacy of prior generations of his ancestral accumulated human interactions where Pekingese have been the breed of choice by those who value beauty and art . Pekingese are not by any metric simple or superficial life beings. They have a centuries long history of relationships with humans, mankind's cultural conflicts, and have inherited their diverse roles in today's modern life. Once protected and valuable prized pets of Chinese royalty given the duty of being guardians of the courts ancestral spirits, they were brought (as stolen loot) to the Western world, they have changed with the times and countries creating what we see now in a variety of coat colors, textures, and individualities making each a valued pet Pekingese, the object of his owner's love and affection. To me they are living works of art created by man's love of beauty and art since the beginning of time."
